week 15 bumpdate

How Far Along? 15 weeks and 3 days. 

Size of Baby P? Baby P is the size of a navel orange.

Maternity Clothes? I bought a pair of maternity pants recently and have decided I am never going back to "normal" jeans. They are so comfy it's not even funny!!

Weight Gain? 2lbs. 

Stretch Marks? Nope. :)

Gender? We find out in just a few short weeks! So excited!

Sleep? Well, I no longer can sleep on my stomach (which is normally how I sleep) so sleeping has been a challenge this week. I don't know if I will ever get used to sleeping on my side...

Food Cravings? French fries and fruit.

What I Miss? Wine.

Symptoms? Insomnia

Best Moment of the Week? Michael & I went up to Fort Bragg for our anniversary over the weekend. We stayed in the cutest B&B and I got to put my feet in the ocean for the first time since being pregnant. I am determined to make this baby a "water baby". :)

Week 14 Update

How Far Along? 14 weeks and 4 days. <3

Size of Baby P? Baby P is the size of a lemon this week.

Maternity Clothes? Still in my pre-pregnancy clothes, but I finally broke down and bought some maternity pants. I am now ready for when my pants no longer button! Whoot Whoot.

Weight Gain? 2lbs. 

Stretch Marks? Nope. :)

Gender? Both Michael and I think it's a BOY. We won't know for sure until October though.

Sleep? No sleep problems yet.

Food Cravings? Still french fries. I really can't get enough...

What I Miss? I miss steak tasting good. I haven't enjoyed the taste of meat in weeks now. :(

Symptoms? Still just tired and a total lack of energy.

Belly Button? In

Best Moment of the Week? Aimlessly walking around the mall when I went on my maternity jean hunt. I forgot how much fun it is to just wander throughout the mall.

Week 13 Update

How Far Along? 13 weeks and 3 days. <3

Size of Baby P? According to this website baby is the size of a peach. Baby is getting bigger and bigger every day. It's so exciting!

Maternity Clothes? Not yet. Some of my pants are getting tight though so it probably won't be much longer before I am going to have to buy a pair of maternity jeans.

Weight Gain? 2lbs. Nothing major yet...

Stretch Marks? Nope.

Gender? We won't know until Oct. 13th. Gender Reveal party here we come!

Sleep? No sleep problems yet.

Food Cravings? French Fries, french fries, french fries. I can't seem to get enough. It is crazy!

What I Miss? Wine! I had to go pick up our wine shipment this last weekend and it was the first time I wasn't able to crack a bottle open when I got home. NOT fun.

Symptoms? Tiredness/lack of energy. Other than that, things have calmed down on this front.

Belly Button? In

Best Moment of the Week? I was finally released from my specialist this week and was told that my chances of miscarriage were so small that I could actually breathe a sigh of relief.

I have been pinning away for the last couple of weeks so I wouldn't forget nursery ideas for Baby P. Since I don't know if our little peanut is a he or a she yet; I have been having fun planning two different nurseries.

Guess who’s back…and with a BIG announcement

I remember chanting a rhyme back in grade school to tease the girl and a boy that liked each other. I would like to think that most elementary schools joined in on this fun, coming of age event... so let's see who remembers how it goes.

First comes love, Then comes marriage, Then comes a BABY in the baby carriage.

I am sure most of you have noticed that I've been MIA for the last few weeks and now you all know why. Yes my dear friends, Michael and I are expecting a baby next March. We are so very excited about the future and can't wait to meet our little peanut.

I have seen a ton of cute weekly updates since I've joined the blogging world and am very happy to be able to join the club of expectant mothers!

Just under 30 weeks until our little peanut makes his or her debut. This is going to be such a fun ride!

Well the last 24 hours have been a complete whirlwind. I've received some of the best news of my life, some of the worst news and then there is the shooting in Colorado...

My feelings are very mixed today about how to react to the last 24 hours. I don't know how to react or even how much I want to say. Due to that, today's blog will be very short and sweet.

My heart, prayers and deepest sympathies go out to the families of the injured and deceased in Colorado on this early Friday morning. I pray that the man responsible is brought to justice and you are able to find some peace in time.

Yay for Wednesdays! This month is flying by and luckily so is this week. It's Wednesday already, which means we are half way to the weekend!

My birthday was great {thank you for the birthday wishes!} but the celebrations aren't over yet. Anyone else notice I love to stretch out my big days? First my wedding {which turned into a week} and now my birthday {which is 5 days of celebrations}. I am getting good at this in my old age. :)
