week 34 & 35 bumpdate

I didn't have the chance to take my 33 week photo because I had a double ear infection and sinus infection, but now I am back strong. Here's week 34 & 35!
How Far Along? Photo taken @ 34 weeks 4 days.
Size of Baby P? Baby Jax is the size of a Cantaloupe! :)
Maternity Clothes? Still a mixture.
Weight Gain? 20lbs
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Gender? Boy!
Sleep? I've come to the realization that I won't have a good night's sleep for another 18 years. Joy.
Food Cravings? Fruit. Lots and lots of fruit!
What I Miss? Wine. I really missed being able to have a drink during the Super Bowl. Luckily for me I have lots of friends that drank enough to cover my not drinking...
Symptoms? Still just the acid reflex & heartburn.
Belly Button? In-betweenie.
Best Moment of the Week? Some of my best friends threw me the BEST baby shower in the entire world. It was seriously one of the best parties ever. You can read about it here. <3

How Far Along? Photo taken @ 35 weeks 6 days.
Size of Baby P? According to L&D, when the hubs & I got to spend 13 hours thinking I was going to deliver 4 weeks early, baby is almost 6 1/2 lbs. It's really scary to think that I was more worried than an entire medical staff about delivering over 4 weeks early!
Maternity Clothes? Mixture.
Weight Gain? 22lbs
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Gender? He's all Boy!
Sleep? If I thought I didn't know what sleep was before; I certainly learned what it meant this week!
Food Cravings? Still fruit. :)
What I Miss? Sleep, fitting into clothes...the list goes on...and on.
Symptoms? Acid reflex & heartburn.
Belly Button? In-betweenie.
Best Moment of the Week? This week I am going to go with worst. On Tuesday we drove 2 1/2 hours for a funeral and then Wednesday we spent over 13 hours in labor & delivery. At one point I was 3.5 cm dilated, 70% effaced and contracting every 1.5-2 minutes. I was adamant that I was not having a Valentines baby, or Feb 15th day baby for that matter. Everyone was making fun of me because I was crossing my legs and telling Jackson he needed to stay in his cushy little home a little while longer. Plus our maternity pictures were scheduled to be taken on Thursday and I would be devastated if we didn't get a chance to take them. I know most of you are rolling your eyes...the hubs did too, trust me. You have to understand though that I am the chick that always has a camera on her (in addition to the one on my phone) and have had a photographer there to document this pregnancy since week 7. Pictures are a big deal to me and that's why my photographer loves me. :)

  1. Haha you sound like me! My camera goes everywhere I do. No lie. So if my maternity pictures hadn't been taken yet, I'd be crossing my legs for Harper to stay in my belly!
